Job Overview:
As a Reference Data Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our reference data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, clean up, and maintain reference data, supporting the overall data management strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and validate reference data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to identify and resolve data issues.
- Develop and implement data cleanup strategies and processes.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data standards and processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis on data discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and report on data quality metrics and trends.
- Assist in the development and execution of data governance policies and procedures.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or a related role.
- Proficiency in SQL, with experience in data querying and manipulation.
- Experience in the U.S. healthcare industry, with an understanding of healthcare data and standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data governance and data management best practices.
- Knowledge of data management tools and platforms, such as SQL databases and data integration tools.
- Familiarity with data quality frameworks and methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with analytics and data analysis tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
- Knowledge of Spark and Python for data processing.
- Understanding of complex data rules and methodology implementation.
- Experience in the healthcare industry or with healthcare data is a plus.
