Middle Data Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Overview:

As a Reference Data Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our reference data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, clean up, and maintain reference data, supporting the overall data management strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and validate reference data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to identify and resolve data issues.
• Develop and implement data cleanup strategies and processes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data standards and processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis on data discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and report on data quality metrics and trends.
• Assist in the development and execution of data governance policies and procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or a related role.
• Proficiency in SQL, with experience in data querying and manipulation.
• Experience in the U.S. healthcare industry, with an understanding of healthcare data and standards.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data governance and data management best practices.
• Knowledge of data management tools and platforms, such as SQL databases and data integration tools.
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with analytics and data analysis tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
• Knowledge of Spark and Python for data processing.
• Understanding of complex data rules and methodology implementation.
• Experience in the healthcare industry or with healthcare data is a plus.
