We are seeking a dedicated Reference Data Business Analyst to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of maintaining high-quality reference data.

 

Job Overview:

As a Reference Data Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our reference data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze, clean up, and maintain reference data, supporting the overall data management strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and validate reference data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to identify and resolve data issues
  • Develop and implement data cleanup strategies and processes
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data standards and processes
  • Conduct root cause analysis on data discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor and report on data quality metrics and trends
  • Assist in the development and execution of data governance policies and procedures.

 

What we are looking for:

We are always looking for new team members who will add to our culture and have a strong passion for impact. In particular, the Reference Data Business Analyst will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data quality, or a related role
  • Proficiency in SQL, with experience in data querying and manipulation
  • Experience in the U.S. healthcare industry, with an understanding of healthcare data and standards
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with data governance and data management best practices
  • Knowledge of data management tools and platforms, such as SQL databases and data integration tools
  • Familiarity with data quality frameworks and methodologies.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with analytics and data analysis tools
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS
  • Knowledge of Spark and Python for data processing
  • Understanding of complex data rules and methodology implementation
  • Experience in the healthcare industry or with healthcare data is a plus.
